Stake, one of the largest crypto casino platforms in the world, says it has paid out more than $14 billion to its VIP players since 2019.
The figures were shared publicly by company co-founder Ed Craven. He said the numbers cover six years of VIP rewards.
Craven argued that Stake changed the direction of online casino loyalty programs when it introduced these bonus systems back in 2019. He said many of the features have since become standard across the industry.
Inside Stake’s VIP Rewards Program
According to the breakdown Craven shared, the largest share of payouts came from manual bonuses. These are bonuses issued directly by VIP managers to top players.
That category alone totaled $6.39 billion. It made up the biggest slice of the overall $14 billion figure.
Coupons were the second largest category. Stake says it handed out $4.06 billion worth of coupon bonuses to VIP players.
Reload bonuses came next. These added up to $2.04 billion over the six-year period.
Smaller categories rounded out the total. Rakeback payments reached $975 million.
Automated webhook credits made up $213 million. Races and betting-volume competitions added another $191 million.
Combined, all six categories add up to more than $14 billion in rewards paid since 2019.
Craven said the bonus structure includes daily reloads, weekly boosts, and monthly bonuses. He said these mechanics were rare in online gambling before Stake introduced them.
