Those products are the Synkros casino management system and the Konami Online Interactive iGaming platform. Both now fall under the same information security standard.
Schellman & Co LLC carried out the certification process. The firm is based in the United States and is accredited by ANAB and UKAS.
Schellman is also a member of the International Accreditation Forum. ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard for managing information security risks.
The standard requires companies to build, run, and improve a security management system. That system must be based on the organization’s specific business risks.
Synkros System Included In Audit
Konami Gaming is based in Las Vegas. It is a subsidiary of Japan-listed Konami Group Corp and supplies casino games and technology worldwide.
Synkros is one of the systems covered under the new certification. Tom Soukup, the company’s senior vice president and chief systems product officer, spoke about the process.
Soukup said the certification is part of the company’s ongoing work on data privacy and security. He said research, quality assurance, and customer support teams all help maintain strong security practices for Synkros.
