Indonesian police have dismantled an online gambling network valued at more than 1 trillion Rupiah, or about $56.6 million. The operation involved three websites based outside Indonesia.

National Police cybercrime director Adex Yudiswan said the websites were run from overseas. However, the operations reached into Indonesia and other countries.
The five suspects were taken into custody in July. Arrests took place in Jakarta, South Tangerang, and Semarang.
Police allege the suspects helped set up a shell company. This company was reportedly used to open bank accounts for collecting gambling proceeds.
