Angel Di María and Maxi Rodríguez are fronting a responsible gambling campaign run by Casino City Center Rosario, timed to coincide with the FIFA World Cup 2026.

This is the second phase of a campaign the casino first launched earlier in 2026. Both footballers were chosen because they are from Rosario and are well-known figures in Argentine football.

Di María is currently playing for Rosario Central and remains part of the Argentine national squad. He was part of the team that won the FIFA World Cup in 2022 and two Copa América titles.

Rodríguez had a long career with the national team from 2003 to 2015. He scored a crucial penalty against Holland at the 2014 World Cup, helping Argentina reach the final.

Why the World Cup Timing Matters
