Genting Malaysia’s casino operations in the United States could soon make up more than a third of the company’s earnings. Maybank Investment Bank released a new forecast this week.
The bank said the US business could contribute 36% of group-wide EBITDA by 2027. That would mark an increase from earlier levels.
Resorts World New York City is expected to lead this growth. The property began offering table games in April 2026.
Genting Malaysia’s US portfolio also includes Resorts World Catskills and Resorts World Hudson Valley. These properties operate alongside the New York location.
Table Games Revenue Climbs Fast
Weekly table games revenue at Resorts World New York City has more than doubled since the launch. It grew from $4.94 million in the first week to $9.87 million by August 9.
Maybank analyst Samuel Yin Shao Yang said the growth trend continued through the third quarter. He pointed to the ramp-up of casino operations at the property.
EBITDA from Genting Malaysia’s US operations rose 169% compared to the previous quarter. It reached MYR216.6 million, or about $53.6 million.
The increase followed the launch of table games at Resorts World New York City in late April.
New York License Gives Early Advantage
Genting Malaysia was granted one of three full casino licenses for downstate New York in December. The license allows the company to run a full casino with table games.
Resorts World New
