Alejandro Tengco, Chairman of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp, spoke at the summit. He said technology has created new opportunities for the gambling industry.

He also said the same technology has brought new challenges. Digital platforms can reach more players, but they also raise oversight concerns.

Tengco said PAGCOR’s rules need to keep up with these changes. The agency wants to support industry growth while protecting players.
